Why did you choose Swift County?	Appleton is our hometown & We feel small businesses are of biggest importance in rural areas.
What has been your biggest success to date?	In 2023, we added a full service floral department to our store- filling a need in the community after our local florist retired.
What has been your biggest challenge?	Competing with online retailers, such as amazon
What's an interesting fact about your business that most people don't know?	Our business started as a small engine repair shop, then added Toro Mowers, and then Stihl. Last, we added a hardware store, and now a floral shop!
When you're not working, what is your favorite thing to be doing in Swift County?	My husband & I refurbish houses in Appleton, we enjoy seeing the end result & new owners pride in ownership.
Do you have any advice for new business owners?	Cash flow can be a struggle, be sure to have options in place.
